Nail clippers and toothbrush for people with limited mobility

The problem
Cutting nails and brushing teeth with standard products is a major challenge for people with limited mobility. The task was to redesign these products using feedback from target users to transform them from a pain to a pleasure.
User centred design
This project required constant consideration of the target user. First, the empathy study was carried out, where I taped my hand joints up and tried to brush my teeth and cut my nails. Then, each prototype was given to care home residents to get feedback before the final design development.
