The problem
People use headphones when running, but even with a transparency mode, these still limit spatial awareness. Tissue conduction in a novel technology where 5 exciters are placed around the skull to provide 360 degree audio while leaving ears completely open to the environment.
Cardboard modelling
After sketching, cardboard modelling was essential to work out the minimum size of the product that houses the exciters and the batteries. I tested it with many different people to ensure that it fit all their heads before moving to CAD.
