The problem
To design an air purifier for children which continues to appeal to children as they get older. Existing products are often animal or character themed, but children often grow out of their favourite character, so it has to adapt. The chassis needed to be made from bent steel and the air filter needed to be easily replaceable.
Prototyping
I built a fully functional prototype built in the same way as the product would be manufactured. This was necessary to test what the product would look like in person and replacing the air filter. I had to make modifications to the lid after the first prototype to get the right fit.
